1932 Helicron...
This one-of-a-kind French automobile, the 1932 Helicron, was discovered in 2000 in a barn where it had been placed by the original owners in the late 1930s. It is driven by a propeller bolted directly to a 4 cylinder air-cooled engine.

The inventor of the Helicron did not rest on his laurels....
.......he went on to invent a wooden pogo-stick without a spring, a pocket-watch made out of chocolate and a sailboat powered by pig-flatulence! Quite a guy!

....I uster have a Volkswagen Wabbit GTi onto which I levered Oettinger (Sp?) heads, which, aside from costing gobso' cash, surged the hp to over 134 (from c. 90) and boosted the torque mebbe 15 ft/lbs. I would smoke the Pirellis in first gear and chirp 'em in second--------but the REAL way to defeat traction problems when street-racing was to use REVERSE!!!!
