Hillary grants eminent domain as collateral to china for u.s. Debts!
WERE Screwed!
The written agreement was brought to Beijing by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and was formalized and agreed-to during her recent trip to China. http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topic...eminent-domain Obama 'ready to drop missile shield plans for Russian help on Iran' http://en.rian.ru/russia/20090302/120375219.html |
If this turns out to be true, why aren't these people and that ***** tried as traitors just as anyone selling military secrets to an enemy power? I hope the first place that take over is Washington and that they kick all of the present administration out on their collective butts. Of course I am sure that she has it worded in there that she and Queen Pelosi will have a high paying job with the new China.
Ron  |
so we send our tax returns to china?
|
Isn't that what got us in this mess? Taking out loans that you cannot pay back?
|
Bullsh!t.How does a non government entity exercise eminent domain "rights".Answer-they can't.
|
:D
Bill, You need to get out more. Queen Pelosi, Hillery, Fienstien, and Boxer can now do anything they want. Remember Pelosi's remark about We now run this country when she was supposed to be referring to the Democrat Majority. So I guess they can give it away as long as they get what they want for it. Get some knee pads for all the kneeling you will be doing soon. Ron   |
How else do you get China to keep buying our debt? You have to collateralise it with something.
I didn't like it when the Bush administration spent us into a hole (though apparently it was patriotic back then), and I don't like it now that Obama is doing the same thing. We should be lowering taxes on the middle class (and by significantly more than $15), and not raising them on the rich. Once (if) our economy gets back in shape then we can raise taxes and knock down the debt. Steve |
Mike........easy boy easy!...you can keep watering the lawn....No fire craker stand at my house.

Tip of the iceberg..........(rant #1 for 3/3/09)
....if the Democrats and this Administration get everything they want, it'll make FDR's legacy look like peanuts (good image, in light of recent peanut news, eh?). I honestly think that the operational structure and power of the federal government will rival Stalin's Russia in effect (but not intent and modus operandi). Fear, co-opted choices, tax-induced poverty, lack of privacy, etc.
Make 'em dumb, fearful and poor. Keep 'em under your thumb. Money is freedom, so the rest follows obviously......'Tis positively Machiavellian! If you can get a generation or so thusly subjugated, you have them forever----especially when they are deprived of any sense of history----i.e. what it was like before the Great Change..... In any case, "for every action, there is an equal (I hope) and opposite reaction". As Jefferson said (paraphrased) "A little revolution now and then is a good thing...". Don't know what you guys are hearing, but there are ominous and unmistakable rumblings out there...."Tea Parties"...h-m-m-m-m. It's gonna cost $12.00 EXTRA to fill yer gas-tank under the Moronic Midget in Taxachusetts... Tax revolt time. Cutting off the fodder for the Great Spending Machine on the Potomac may be the only shot we've got. That is, before the ACORN acolytes* show up on our lawn. Some sci-fi movie said it best: "...that was before they started coming out of the cities..." Gawdalmighty------wish I was born in 1880!!!! *whatever the name for the proposed Little Red Guard, Ton-ton Macoute "youth corps" will be called.... Carrion ('s'what we'll all be eating, soon) |
Tis a good time for all of the Neo Natzi groups to start showing up. They would have more backing now than ever before I fear. Now if we could just somehow get the whole Govt., including the Big 4 out of the country for good and start over it might not be such a bad thing. Oregon is already taxing some vehicles per mile driven on top of their gas tax when they fill up. That seems to be the next big money making thing in the politicians eyes as there is no limit on what they can charge per mile yet. I saw that Pelosi and some of her court are considering introducing a bill like that in Congress that would make it mandatory for every vehicle to have a device to measure miles and then add so much per mild driven to the gas tax when you fill up. Reminder to all...........
........it's always germane to remember that NAZIs were in fact (like all fascists) SOCIALISTS. Lefties are perpetually fond of calling staunch conservatives such as I and lotso' you on the CCSite "fascists" or "Nazis". It is always a Jobian labor to correct them, and, considering their insignificant, tightly-closed brain-masses, probably a hopeless endeavor.
I uster remind ALL my erstwhile little charges in history classes, that, the easiest way to remember that fascists and Nazis were socialists (and therefore Lefties) was to compare them to modern Lefties. Which group (Left or Right) wants to make everything mandatory? I'm sure CdC (with his vast intellect and resources) could fashion an historic "check-list" which shows how communists, socialists, Democrats and liberals of all stripes are in reality monumentally arrogant statists who don't trust the masses to think for themselves. Buckle Up, Recycle, No Smoking, warning labels gone mad, "don't eat this---eat that", Wear a Helmet (in the shower?). About the only group on the right who want to run everyone's life seem to be the anti-abortionists. Most pro-lifers are white Christians---and, as Christopher Hitchens said so famously---"if they knew just who were being aborted, they'd reverse course!" Lefties want to take away your liberty, freewill, etc. and the easiest way to do that is via a dual-edged sword: confiscatory taxation and regulations up the ying-yang! Chow, |
Fascism, modern political ideology that seeks to regenerate the social, economic, and cultural life of a country by basing it on a heightened sense of national belonging or ethnic identity. Fascism rejects liberal ideas such as freedom and individual rights, and often presses for the destruction of elections, legislatures, and other elements of democracy. Despite the idealistic goals of fascism, attempts to build fascist societies have led to wars and persecutions that caused millions of deaths. As a result, fascism is strongly associated with right-wing fanaticism, racism, totalitarianism, and violence.
ORIGINS AND RISE OF NAZISM Print this section National Socialism was similar in many respects to Italian fascism (see Fascism). The roots of National Socialism, however, were peculiarly German, grounded, for example, in the Prussian tradition of military authoritarianism and expansion; in the German romantic tradition of hostility to rationalism, liberalism, and democracy; in various racist doctrines according to which the Nordic peoples, as so-called pure Aryans, were not only physically superior to other races, but were the carriers of a superior morality and culture; and in certain philosophical traditions that idealized the state or exalted the superior individual and exempted such a person from conventional restraints. The theorists and planners of National Socialism included General Karl Ernst Haushofer, a German geographer who exercised much influence in German foreign affairs. The German editor and party leader Alfred Rosenberg formulated Nazi racial theories on the basis of the work of the Anglo-German writer Houston Stewart Chamberlain. To the German financier Hjalmar Schacht fell the task of formulating and carrying out much economic and banking policy, and the German architect and party leader Albert Speer was a major figure in overseeing the economy just before the end of World War II (1939-1945). Liberalism, attitude, philosophy, or movement that has as its basic concern the development of personal freedom and social progress. Liberalism and democracy are now usually thought to have common aims, but in the past many liberals considered democracy unhealthy because it encouraged mass participation in politics. Nevertheless, liberalism eventually became identified with movements to change the social order through the further extension of democracy. A distinction must therefore be made between liberalism, in which social change is conceived of as gradual, flexible, and adaptive; and radicalism, in which social change is seen as fundamental and based on new principles of authority. The course of liberalism in a given country is usually conditioned by the character of the prevailing form of government. For example, in countries in which the political and religious authorities are separate, liberalism mainly connotes political, economic, and social reform; in countries in which a state church exists or a church is politically influential, liberalism mainly connotes anticlericalism. In domestic politics, liberals have opposed feudal restraints that prevent the individual from rising out of a low social status; barriers such as censorship that limit free expression of opinion; and arbitrary power exercised over the individual by the state. In international politics, liberals have opposed the domination of foreign policy by militarists and military considerations and the exploitation of native colonial people, and they have sought to substitute a cosmopolitan policy of international cooperation. In economics, liberals have attacked monopolies and mercantilist state policies that subject the economy to state control. In religion, liberals have fought against church interference in the affairs of the state and attempts by religious pressure groups to influence public opinion. A distinction is sometimes made between so-called negative liberalism and positive liberalism. Between the mid-17th and the mid-19th centuries, liberals fought chiefly against oppression, arbitrariness, and misuses of power and emphasized the needs of the free individual. About the middle of the 19th century many liberals developed a more positive program stressing the constructive social activity of the state and advocating state action in the interests of the individual. The present-day defenders of the older liberal policies deplore this departure and argue that positive liberalism is merely authoritarianism in disguise. The defenders of positive liberalism argue that state and church are not the only obstructors of freedom, but that poverty may deprive the individual of the possibility of making significant choices and must therefore be controlled by constituted authority. |

I can think of a few neighborhoods in Detroit they can have... We'll just tell them it's Hollywood.
On second thought, they can have Hollywood as well... |
:)
Ronbo, Did you see the shape Hollywood is in now? They had a news special on about two weeks ago showing the closed shops and others with big closing out sale signs in the windows. One woman they interviewed in one of the over priced shoe stores brought out this pair of Womens shoes that looked like felt sewn together and was ugly. She said they normally sold for $1,800 dollars but she has them marked down to $ 445 now. Even the wealthy kooks down there aren't buying right now. The big Hollywood sign up on the hill needs to be repaired but they can't afford it. I think it is starting to turn into a upper class slum right now. Ron |

We won't be safe until all the masts are insulated rubber. In spite of snopes.com, I think the eminent domain thing may still be a problem. :( If Russia, with it's vast resources, and China with it's vast population, ever get friendly, the resulting "800 pound gorilla" coalition will take pretty much anything they want. Perhaps we should send Rush over there to convince them to continue their hate and distrust of each other. I've got a nice backyard I'd hate to lose over misplaced distrust and poor timing. And that's the unvarnished truth. Wes ... |
:(
Actually Wes, since the economy is so bad I don't think they can even put up anything we have for collateral to borrow from China. Russia can sustain itself without the rest of the world but would have to cut off a lot of their trade and other things. Even Britain is suffering from huge losses in business ventures they have here in this country. I believe that right now, Russia is in the best shape of any country and even they are hurting some.
