Where the money comes from?
Just caught the end of a survey [don't know whose] on Fox.
Says 65% of us KNOW the Governments money comes from OUR taxes. But 24% THINK THE GOVERNMENT HAS ITS OWN MONEY!!!!!!!!!! UNFREAKINBELIEVABLE!!! And I guess the rest "Don't know." So 35% think the money appears magically?? They must be the ones we elected. Dan |

The next question should be - What does one TRILLION dollars look like?
Well, here's everyone's favorite bill..... $100 million fits neatly on a standard pallet... Club members... I give you $1 trillion dollars... (And notice those pallets are double stacked.) So the next time you hear someone toss around the phrase "trillion dollars"... that's what they're talking about. |

I saw in one of the newspapers a reference using time to compare money. So many seconds for $1 Million and so on and it was unbelievable at the years for a Trillion. Our whole darn Govt. and seemingly much of society has lost any concept of what money is and that you can't just print more any time that you need it. They want to create work, maybe they should think abut opening some of the old Gold mines up again. Ron |

just remember a LARGE PERCENTAGE of americans PAY NO TAXS or very little, only the rich pay 80% or more of taxes.
So why would they not think the government has other money- THERE NOT PAYinG TAX's and on top of that they get rebates and tax credits EVEN if they did not pay. THE TOOTH FAIRY pays the money to the government as far as there concerned joeg |
Speaking of taxes, there are 8,000.000 people in NYC. Michael Bloomberg says 40,000 NYC residents pay the taxes that run the city.

If you think it will be income tax increases, your wrong...
It's already started (at least for me and any other smoker) .60 a pack to add to the .39 federal tax on cigarettes. Then more "impact fees", telecom "tolls and access charges", "excise taxes", "advanced disposal fees", and on and on and on... Get ready for the tidal wave of inflation that is coming from flooding the economy with un-backed currency as well. This one will make the 22% era of the late 70's look like a cake walk. Folks what we really need is a "bi-partisan effort" on the part of the people to shut down about 90% of the federal government. We'll be forced to enact a bartering system to cut the govenments purse strings and choke it off financially. Bad thing is the govenment has been systematically taking over the majority of the country's farms over the last 100yrs so they have the ability to starve us out (and I don't doubt they would). |
