Bill, I read about the new Cobra Jet Mustangs in a Ford book that I get and they were all sold before they even got them finished. This Ford dealer here didn't even know what I was talking abut when I called and asked if they could get one. They sound like a very good drag car for the money. Ron :) |

GM Performance Division no more
Not sure if anyone cares but to add to the strength Ford continues to show on the Racing side, I read a few weeks back that GM disbanded their performance division that used to develop the "SS" performance variants and others etc. as a result of well, ........ being broke. Sad really, competition is healthy.

The SS program is being outsourced, a redesign and a lightening program is being implimented, the new tires are said to reduce the ride height and reduce rolling resistance. The new wheels are AWSOME
