The Bush administration had perfectly sound policies in most areas. The left’s political need to trash all things Bush is pseudo progress of the worst kind. They’re just messing things up.

I have to say this wording seems to amount to a distinction without a difference. But the Left will be okay with it because it is coming from the Obama administration.

Can you say rendition, Bush gave himself the power to call anyone he wanted and enemy combatant, even you could have been called an enemy combatant, and whisked away to some prison in some unknown country, with no rights what so ever.
Now ask yourself, do you want Obama to have that kind of power? as much as I like Obama, I would never give him that kind of power, so its best we get rid of much of what Bush did.

It is amazing how liberals can be so fixated on the last 8 years that it makes them more irrational than they normally are. Yet they can ignore all the rest of history like it never happened.

That's the way it works and always has. Whoever is in charge when the economy is good gets credit for it even though they never caused it. Same for when it sucks. Obama is doing a very good imitation of Bush so far as appointments go, I see another on had to get out of town. He will still be trying to fill all of the moronic positions that he created to make the Govt. smaller, one of his statements of what he would do if elected, when his first term is over.

W would have caught the blame if we were attacked again (he gets blamed for everything anyway), so he gets credit for no attacks IMO.

Let's see the last 8 years were pretty good for me, I built my Cobra,bought and sold a couple of properties at a nice gain, welcomed a new grandaughter and great granddaughter into our clan, and married off the last daughter to a hard working guy. The last 3 months I've lost a ton of money in my 401 K ,alot of mu friends sre out of work and now we are owned by the Chinese hhmmmmm!! Some change huh??
