Good points all.......
.......as I intone, ad nauseum, the first move of totalitarians is to disarm the public. Can't have the people able to react, when they really come for all our freedoms. Typical liberals----no one iota of common sense or understanding of human nature. They just don't understand the opposition they generate with their loopy actions. Ooops, maybe they do. Amend that. That's why they become genocidal totalitarians, isn't it? Duh!
As to "President Tennis Match" (as Laura Ingram calls him because of his bobble-head speaking gestures), it's obvious that he's Pelosi's and Bawnie Fwonk's puppet----and puppets are the paradigmatic "empty suits", are they not? I am ready to start a new rebellion----let's get past the Tea Party Taxpayers March on Washington in a couple of weeks. THEN we can start a movement for adding the requirement of "honorable military service" for presidential criteria! Works for me.......oh, I didn't tell you guys? Ar-ar-r-ar-ar-ar-ar..... |
American citizen and honorable discharge from military service, absolutely Freddie, lines 1 and 2 on job application.

That will be a trick . Every time I go to the ER, the receptioist wants to know if was an on the job injury. I have done this a time or two. My problem is getting them straight with L&I which is Washington State workers insurance and Office of Workers Compensation, which is ferderal ,which I am. They are all geared up for State L&I. They allways ask for My insurance card and that allways muddies the waters. But they want their money. Two hours in an almost empty hospital ER waiting room, two hours being left alone in examination room, two pain shots and a pair of Cat scans, the second one with iodine enhancer= $9,000+.
This may be another sceme, once the private insurance companies have to pay for all this their rates will get even higher. Aren't they talking about taxing employee benifits. |

White House drops plan to bill disabled veterans for care By News Release @ 2:49 PM :: 61 Views :: Hawaii State Politics, National News, National Politics WASHINGTON, March 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Disabled American Veterans today commended the Obama administration for backing down from a controversial proposal that would force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who suffered service-related disabilities and injuries. The proposal that had been considered as part of the president's budget would require private insurance companies to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs in such cases. But the idea was unanimously opposed by the DAV and other leaders of the veterans community who were invited to the White House Monday to discuss the plan directly with President Obama. Veterans were again united in opposing the plan in a follow-up meeting with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel Wednesday. The decision to drop the idea was announced by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi at a meeting with veterans groups after the meeting with Emanuel. "The president was very open and candid when he met with veterans groups earlier this week, and we are pleased that he has heard our concerns and taken them to heart," said Washington Headquarters Executive Director David W. Gorman. "Our message to the president was simple and direct: that our government must not abandon its moral responsibility to the men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms." ____ Thank God! I'm thinking that the protest against this idea did it. |
I'm thinking your correct, now for more protest...........

Georgia Arms ************************************************** ********************************************** -----Original Message----- From: Cunningham, Mark (HQ DLA) Sent: Tuesday, March 17, 2009 5:51 PM To: Brian Blalock (Tester) Cc: Glover, Rebecca (HQ DLA) Subject: Small Arms Cartridge Cases Brian, We received your March 17, 2009, letter on the recent reclassification of small arms cartridges. Please advise whether the information provided below will suffice in lieu of a written response which will contain the same information. The Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS), a field activity of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), is the Department of Defense (DOD) activity responsible for the disposition of excess and surplus DOD Property. The primary focus of the DRMS mission is to protect national security by ensuring property is properly identified for reutilization and disposition and not released for public sale when to do so would jeopardize national security. During the past two years, DRMS revised its processes to further ensure only appropriate items were made available for public sale. To strengthen current controls and to mitigate future security risk, the DOD issued policy that prohibits the sale of military unique items controlled by the Department of State through its Munitions List. Small arms cartridge cases are identified as a sensitive Munitions List item and were held pending review of the policy relating to the category of items in which cartridge cases were included. Upon review, the Defense Logistics Agency has determined the cartridge cases could be appropriately placed in a category of government property allowing for their release for sale. The DRMS sales contractor has been notified of this decision and has begun the process of reoffering the cases that have been held pending completion of the policy review. As was previously required, buyers who purchase cartridge cases from the government must be approved to do so under Trade Security Controls. v/r Mark Mark Cunningham Legislative Affairs Defense Logistics Agency |
