Word has it that the Black (Barbara Lee /Kommunist Kalifornia) Congressional Caucus just offered Raul Castro 300 Million TAX DOLLARS to rebuild the RAT HOLE hotels on the island paradise! %/

I guess that's a small portion of the money they CUT from the Military Budget....

Shelby should get ahead of the curve and open a Cobra Dealership on our New Island paradise!:rolleyes:
When they close Gitmo Castro can turn it into a road course...:LOL:

Why rebuild the motels? Last I heard they still weren't going to normalize relations with Cuba and Russia is going to have a small military presence there.

The one thing that Cuba DOES have is an active tourist trade.
They have plenty of tourist hotels. ONLY Americans don't go there as tourists. Canadians do, Brits do, Germans do, etc. etc. Cruise ships stop in Cuba [not out of American ports].
Tourism is alive and well there. That's about all they got but they do have tourists..

Actually some American tourists do go to Cuba but they take a slight detour through Canada to get there. :LOL::LOL:

How about taking a week or so and running down there and picking me up a couple of cherry 57 Chevys and any other desirable car you see. You know that I am good for it as I had rather owe you than beat you out of it.

They had a special on the cars of Cuba on one of my cable channels recently, and you are right. These guys love the old American cars, but they are not able to get parts for them. They showed one car that they were installing a tractor motor in because they could not get parts for the factory one.
