I think all companies should make a profit. Who ever thought of this is a few fries shy of a Happy Meal. Why would you be in business if it was not to make money/ a profit?

WTF? Don't teack Sex Ed around here in the 4th grade. They do teach kids to read in the 4th grade, atlest around here.

Wow, me not a liberal?:confused:

My wife works for Dept of Human Services (DHS) as a case worked, you know, food stamps, medicare, etc.

I don't have a problem with taking care of the elderly, or the sick, the disabled, the needy, or a little kid who's parents are to useless to do it themselves.

I do have a problem with taking care of adults that are to useless to work or atlest try.

Anyway, since my wife works at DHS, she knows everybody in the county that is on "assistances", had DHS take their kids away, etc. Well, earlier today while at Wal-Mart, a couple approuched my wife and myself and started asking my wife some questions about their case file. No big deal, happens everyday. The couple did not work. Lived off food stamps, selling drugs and the woman got a SSI check each month. Basically street junkies. The woman told us that tommorrow she got her meds refilled and would get 120 10mg oxycontin and 30 soma. This woman is healthy and does not need pain pills or somas. She just a junkie.

Bad part to this is since she is on SSI, she gets medicaid and medicare so her drugs are free. Well, for her anyway, you and I are paying for them.

There is something wrong with this.

I have known this woman for some time now and I have known the man all my life. She is 39yo and he is 46yo. When she gets her meds tomorrow, she will do all of them in about 5 days.

Another thing that makes me :mad: is my Dad is 71yo and needs a total knee replacement. When he goes to the doctor and asks about pain meds black-suited storm troopers drop out of the ceiling and the doctor faints, nurse calls HomeLand Security, etc. but they will freely give them out to some old drug ho.

There is something wrong with this.

If your wife (or you) had proof that this couple were "...selling drugs..." or misusing the drugs prescribed to them doesn't your wife (or you) have a responsibility to report the illegal activity (drug selling) or improper activity (misusing the drugs) to the proper authorities?
