There ... are YOU friggin' happy now?

I am - got you to move on.....

Tom;
Take a look at the comments following the plant closure announcement printed in the "Kenosha News," May 2nd. It would appear that the alliance between BO and the UAW might be under a little stress, betrayal seems to be a common theme if you are a UAW worker at the Kenosha Engine Plant. Not a whole lot of support for William Jefferson Clinton and his signing of the NAFTA treaty, either! Remember "situational ethics?" ...or..."Be careful what you wish for......"

It has nothing to do with cdc, it's your juvenile responses!.

Jamo 05-03-2009 10:02 AM

OK...here's the thing. I was working a two-day car show on Friday and Saturday that I helped organize....and planned for a year. First time I've had a day off in a long time. CW also took a bit of time for a little trip with his wifey. We figured folks in the Lounge had gotten the message so we could sneak away for a couple of days without watching y'all too closely.

And my freeking birthday was last Friday...and not one of you buttwipes even thought of offering salutations.

So I wake up this morning after working my butt off at the car show yeaterday (several hundred cars that I personally directed the parking for...a bit like moderating here since everyone thinks they know the best way to park), and I have a full body muscle cramp this morning, and come over here figuring I'd come across some intelligent discussion.

Not.

CdC...a bit provocative in your responses, but you do seem to be getting it at long last. Just take a day off.

Ernie...I've about had it with your protestations...despite the fact that I have a warm spot for you.

One month off. If you lose it again...permanent.

Back to the discussion prompted by the thread starter...with absolutely no deviations.

Oh, and good morning everyone. :)

J. T. Toad 05-03-2009 10:19 AM

Happy Birthday Jamo!

Maybe I'll go read the thread now, I have grown accustomed to looking for Jamo's or CW's posts solely to see where the 'fight' might be.

Jamo, your welcome to chastise me so that you can "ban" yourself for a couple of days for a nice vacation. :D

Again, Happy Birthday.

In the spirit of my day of birth, I hereby lift the sanction upon Cdc...he really is trying harder, and it is most appreciated. :)

UAW is no doubt PO'd they got one board member with no voting rights. (in other words a hood ornament) The shares were given to the retirees fund, so the UAW walked away with nothing.

Here's the best part, Fiat pays no money for their part of Chrysler. (WTF??)

I see some things never change around here! lol

Happy belated Jamo!

White House press Corps..AKA..msnbc and cnn.

Quote:......Steve Rattner, the leader of the Obama administration's Auto Industry Task Force, threatened one of the firms, an investment bank, that if it continued to oppose the administration's Chrysler bankruptcy plan, the White House would use the White House press corps to destroy its reputation.....

White House denies thuggery:

joe g 05-04-2009 04:30 PM

Reagan warned then fired the air traffic guys, liberals went nuts til lthis day, Obama theatens GM and Chrysler and force's chrysler into bankruptcy, layoffs of over 20,000, a nine week shutndown. CAN YOU IMAGINE IF McCain had done this. Another example of liberals doing something bad and getting away with it
joeg

Ronbo 05-04-2009 11:28 PM

I think once Chrysler is whittled down to two guys building one car a year in the White house's garage from surplus parts given to them by Fiat, the government will be able to declare "we saved Chrysler!"...

GM could be "streamlined" into a chain of car washes... (bi-lingual of course)

Good thing we handed out all that money to avoid shuttering plants and tossing workers out while a plan could be drafted to shutter the plants and toss out the workers. Oh, and hand away the company for nothing.

Bill Bess 05-07-2009 02:47 PM

Don't worry...The United States of Obama (USO) is going to handle our factory warranties so those of us that have Chrysler collector cars can keep them running for another 3.5 years.
Now if the USO gets another four years in office, that damm Jeep will still be running long after I'm dead.
What me worry!.....who knows maybe he'll give us an extended lifetime warranty that forces me to stay alive atleast until the GOP gets it's act together.

Old Bill
