What's up guys? It's been a while since I've been on here. Well, I'm back overseas. Afghanistan this time, Bagram to be exact. Sucks but it's only 11 more months! :rolleyes:

So, who finished a car over the past year? I see Hurricane's status is ummm.. shaky? I'm so glad I was able to sell my car back to Rich and Mike before the sale. Seems like it would have been a nightmare trying to get help from a vendor. Not that the current owners wouldn't have lended a hand.

Anyways, good to be back! :LOL:

Happy to see you back posting. To bad about having to go Afghanistan, but with luck the 11 months will pass quickly and safely. Keep us up to date on what is going on.

How did the police academy go? Weren't you supposed to get into the training program doing that? Heck I have slept since then.

Well... the police academy went great! I was accepted to the local academy and also passed most of the requirements needed to get into the state academy. Then things took a turn.... I lost the temporary job I had working for google because they wanted to cut back. Money got tight and after crunching numbers... we just wouldn't have been able to keep and maintain our properties and bills and all with me not having a job. So, my wife started her RN program and i headed back here for another year. Then we will be good to go. Debt free!!! Everything paid for!!!! My wife will be a year into her certification and I already have a great, very rewarding, job lined up for the return as long as things pan out the way they should.

My daughter turned 3 in march and she isn't sure what is going on. it's tough on her. We chat online and do the video thing and she's happy. She will be just 4 when I get back and she is excited cause daddy is gonna buy her a new 4 wheeler. "Her own 4 wheeler!" as she calls it. She loves to ride already. Of course that is if we can convince the U.S. Gov't that kids deserve ATV's and that PARENTS understand the lead issue and are confident that their kids are not going to eat the atv, rather ride it!

Mike, that picture never get's old! haha What do I hear? Well about 2 hours ago as i was sitting in my hut watching a movie and enjoying my day off, some idiot had to go ruin it by sending us 8-12 rounds..... And in the last 2 weeks.. we have had TOO many fallen comrad ceremonies!

To bad things worked out so you had to go back, but it sounds as if your future is very bright. And you will get to spend most of the time your daughter is growing up with her. Just take it easy and tell them to stop lobbing shells when yu are watching a movie. Stay safe, we will be watching for your posts and return.
