unemployment quick fix...

...well almost.

Rodger O. Riney, owner/CEO of scottrade made a very simple and logical comment concerning the current unemployed.

'There are 6 million businesses in the USA, offer an incentive for each company to hire just 'one' employee, and cut the unemployment rate in half'.

You won't get ideas like this from a politician.

A large number of those 6 million have only 0. 1 or 2 employees. It would take a pretty large incentive for them to hire an employee. I for one, have 2 of those six million businesses and have no employees at all

I just hired two more last month..

Back up to 22. (had 26 a year ago)

Although I also got my "stimulus" screwing:

As part of the 2009 stimulus package not only do I have to offer COBRA to anyone leaving the company (no big deal but the paperwork is a pain), now I have to pay 65% of the cost for the first 9 months.

This of course is on top of the 50% of unemployment payments for up to 18 months.

If I didn't provide insurance to my employees I don't have to pay anything.
