Riders......

I've given rides to a number of people and it's always fun/interesting to watch their reactions. Thought about it the other day and narrowed it down to 3 categories.

1. Oblivious:

He/she has never been in a performance car, just seen pictures or passed by one on the road. This person is excited, gets in and buckles up, and jumps a little when I crank her up. This type is making noises before I come out of 1st gear!, by the time I've maxed out in second, their either screaming 'take me back', crying, hitting my right arm, or all three.

2. Nervous:

You can tell this type because their kinda quite, breathing heavy
and looking for something to grab, they moan, cuss, but ride it out.

3. Relaxed:

This type just wants more, they cuss but in an excited sort of way.

Maybe a little of topic BUT if your sellng your car and YOU know the guy is serious after you take him for a ride do you let him drive it? After hearing all the story's about people letting a friend etc drive there Cobra and get in a crash -what should I do?

Haven't reached the selling point yet, probably only on a desolated back road with strict instructions.

Was not intending to sell, at least not this soon, planing on moving to norht Carolna on the water and a boat right on my own dock is going to get alot more use. Hope to move by late fall. Having 2 expensive fair weather toys is hard to justify, one will not get used.

I've been salivating over a boat for some time....a 30' Island Hopper center console, tuna tower, 6 cyl. cummings diesel. It doubles as a dive boat. But, gotta move first........

I had owned boats all my life, sold the last one in 2003, and bought the Cobra knowing some day we would move south and want a boat. I vacation down in va beach every summer which is 7 miles north of where we own land and from April to October its HOT, and boating can be done almost year round. Many leave them in the water all year. Dec 26 it was 62 there. I figure it would be to dam hot to ride in the Cobra for many of those months and would prefer a nice fast boat.
