I just saw that. I think they are actually a little afraid of what the people will do if they keep throwing out all of the things that the people vote on and pass. This state is not in good condition and I feel, based on the atmosphere around here that about anything could set off a really bad situation.

I have to admit that I am quite surprised by this outcome. And pleased. And in of all places, California. Maybe this will roll across the country to other states where courts have ruled that GM is "constitutional". As for the 18,000 marriages, the judge should have reverted those to "partnerships". Its going to be a mess for years out there.

Now all we need to do is get some of the other measures we voted in that were thrown out back on the balot. How about we vote on another version of Prop 187 (no money for illegals)? That passed with a good majority and was thrown out. With the money trouble we are having now I say we put it up to the voters again.:cool:
