Pennsylvania Newspaper Runs Ad Calling for Obama Assassination

WARREN, Pa. — A small-town newspaper is apologizing for running a classified advertisement calling for the assassination of President Barack Obama.

Warren Times Observer Publisher John Elchert says the ad appeared Thursday. It read, "May Obama follow in the steps of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley and Kennedy!" The four presidents were all assassinated.

Elchert tells The Associated Press that the newspaper's advertising staff didn't make the historical connection.

He says the northwestern Pennsylvania newspaper turned information over to police and that the Secret Service is investigating the person who placed the ad.

A note in Friday's paper says the newspaper "apologizes for the oversight."

Now Who's coming with us?!?! haha:LOL:

:(

Obviously the person or persons posting that ad never looked at the line of succession after Obama. Poor taste and though I don't like him at all and am afraid of him as I think he is dangerous to this country and it's continued existence, I would like to be proved wrong and see him succeed.

Yes, we need to vote obama, Biden, Pelosi, Ried, Frank, oh hell, INCUMBENTS, both parties, out of office.

Suggested new rules,
FIRST, repeal 16th Amendment,
NEXT,
Candidates for Congress can never have held elected office before and are limited to a single term.
Candidates caught lying while campaigning or serving their one term should be taken outside and stoned to death immediately.

Simply requiring voters have an IQ of at least 90 or so would be much easier.

That is prejudicial, demeaning, elitist, and probably racist against the Irish.:p And would likely wipe out all politics.

During the last election there was a measure on the ballot to get rid of the "Check cashing" places. It passed. All of them have to be gone by the end of 2010.
