Schumacher to Come Back, Replace Injured Massa for Ferrari Team
By Alessandro Poggi July 29 (Bloomberg) -- Seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher will come back and replace the injured Felipe Massa as a driver for the Ferrari Formula One team. Massa suffered a fractured skull last weekend while trying to qualify for the Hungarian Grand Prix. The announcement was made on Ferrari’s Web site today. Ron |

Schumacher's manager advised him not to come out of retirement. I don't follow F1 that closely, but I couldn't agree more. Aside from keeping his incredible record intact, it just seems like he's pushing his luck and tempting fate. He did try motorcycle racing (and crashed) after he retired, so maybe he is certifiably nuts. :JEKYLHYDE

It seems that very few people who are stars in any sport and then retire and decide to come back manage to do much but tarnish their reputation.
