Boy, am I bored!!!!!
Howdy Everbody,
Title says it all. Yes, I'm bored. On July 14th I had a partial knee replacement and I've only been away from my house twice since I came home on the 16th. I will start outpatient phys. therapy on Monday the 3rd. Atlest I will be able to get out of the house then. My Doc said not to drive. This is a real bummer. Wife works for the state and works Mon-Fri 8am to 4:30pm so she cannot take me anywhere during the day. My daughter is 13yo and she cannot drive, so, the two of us are stuck at home. What a bummer. I cannot walk without using crutches so I cannot even shoot much. Which is a real bummer since I have a range at my house and I usually shoot everyday. Real bummer! Everytime I try sitting at my reloading bench, my knee/leg starts swelling up so I cannot even reload! Real Bummer. I cannot even work on my car. I'm bebuilding my '95 Stang GT convertable and I'm going with a storker 351W, new top, carpets and recovered seats and it sits under a tarp because I cannot walk w/out using a crutches. I watched everything on TV (I have Dish) and am running out of things to look at on the 'Net. Heck, about the only thing I haaven't looked at is gay porn. Yep, I'm bored. I'm so bored that I started this thread about being bored. Paul |
I can join your bored thread.. Having busted my vertebrae and had 2 surgeries I am super bored. Been bored for 8 weeks now. I sympathize with your boredom.

Howdy,
. Since I can't walk without crutches I cannot do much. Bored w/ TV, the 'Net, everything in general. I have to go to the credit union today so I will get out of the house for a little bit today. Only problem is that my leg starts to swell and gets very painfull. Back in May, shop one broke into my utility building and stole all of my tools. Finally my homeowners' insurance is starting to replace them. my driveway is over 600yds long and the UPS guy will not drive too my house so he drops everything off just a little ways down my drivesway. Try loading a Hobart 187 wire welder into the back of a F-150 when you are on crutches. Kinda hard to do. Getting my tools replaced has been a nightmare too. Almost all my tools were Craftsmansand they have tried to give me a few no name things. I've been on the phone with them several times this week about everything. Paul |
