Biggest tax revenue drop since 1932

According to the Associated Press and referring to Federal tax revenues.

How can anybody with an ounce of common sense think that any new programs will result in anything but higher taxes for all of us....

Sorry, my rant is done...usually do not get caught up in stuff like this.

Well some people believe that FDR spent us out of the depression with the New Deal public works. Others believe he prolonged the depression with the New Deal public works.

Hmmm, my Economics professors in college agreed that WWII brought us out of the depression, and that the 'alphabet soup' policies actually deepened it. Check the numbers. there was a slight uptick thru 1940, but a very large slide thru 1941 into the first quarter of 1942, when military spending went thru the roof after capital was aligned with production needs.

By this time every year I would have made two quarterly tax payments of around $20K with a couple more to come. This year I will make no payments and will draw back taxes I paid in prior years.

Multiply that by 100's of thousand's of businesses in the US, do you think Congress will get it?

IRS won't get "IT."
And Congress won't "GET" it either.

Having people pick up bear poop in the national parks and stand in soup lines did not get us out of the depression, manufacturing ramp-up of WWII and development of technologies for war use pulled us out of the slump.

Only problem now is our leadership lacks the sacks to bring "the wrath of GOD" apon the enemies of the US. Not to mention half our population needs weeded off as well. (excellent cannon fodder for a modern day Patton)

Washington won't be happy till everyone works at Wal-mart and direct deposits their entire check to the IRS. (which will then be forwarded to the UN for distribution)

Republicans get in, cut taxes, revenues go up. Democrats get in, raise taxes, and revenues go down. It is a process that will be repeated time and time again. There is no memory in America. The sad part is, its the republican policies that make it possible to fund the stupid mandated democrat programs. For once, I say NO to anymore conservative policies that help these liberals and their stupid social programs. Let the whole damn thing finally collapse.

The Tax Poem

At first I thought this was funny...then I realized the awful truth of it.
Be sure to read all the way to the end!

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.

Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!

Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.

Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries
Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore..

Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.

Put these words
Upon his tomb,
‘Taxes drove me
to my doom....’

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply
The inheritance tax.

And I still have to ‘press 1’ for English!?!?!?!?
