Ernie...if we had learned from history, we would not have cut the balls off our human intelligence gathering in the 90s under Clinton, we would not have double-dared the bad guys in the region to hit us after running away from Somolia in front of their eyes, and we sure as hell wouldn't have threatened prosecution against the Reagan and Bush administrations.
...the same mistakes are happening again.

I'm not convinced it saved lives, in fact, may lead to even more deaths in time.
The fact that there is a legal investigation as to the treatment of prisoners would strongly suggest somebody thinks there is a moral/ethical issue here. I agree with that assessement.

I submit that when you have an enemy sworn to kill you at all times in all places, the moral/ethical thing to do is kill them first and in VERY large numbers.
Wars END when one side CANNOT fight any longer. Political truces just reschedule the conflict at a later time. |

And the FOUR investigations that have already been done, by professional investigators, need to be ignored because they didn't come up with the "proper" political result?
Will they do more investigations until it is obummers and robber emanuals cousins doing the investigation and finally inventing the "proper" results? |
