This is an e-mail that I received and I don't vouch for whether it is true or not, but it seems to fit in with his disdain for the people.


FINALLY...THE $64,000 QUESTION WAS ASKED...

YESTERDAY ON "ABC-TV" (BETTER KNOWN AS THE ALL BARRACK CHANNEL) DURING THE "NETWORK SPECIAL ON HEALTH CARE".... OBAMA WAS ASKED:

"MR. PRESIDENT WILL YOU AND YOUR FAMILY GIVE UP YOUR CURRENT HEALTH CARE PROGRAM AND JOIN THE NEW 'UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE PROGRAM' THAT THE REST OF US WILL BE ON ????"..... (BET YOU ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER)...

THERE WAS A STONEY SILENCE AS OBAMA IGNORED THE QUESTION AND CHOSE NOT TO ANSWER IT !!!...

IN ADDITION, A NUMBER OF SENATORS WERE ASKED THE SAME QUESTION AND THERE RESPONSE WAS..."WE WILL THINK ABOUT IT."

AND THEY DID. IT WAS ANNOUNCED TODAY ON THE NEWS THAT THE "KENNEDY HEALTH CARE BILL" WAS WRITTEN INTO THE NEW HEALTH CARE REFORM INITIATIVE ENSURING THAT CONGRESS WILL BE 100% EXEMPT !

SO, THIS GREAT NEW HEALTH CARE PLAN THAT IS GOOD FOR YOU AND I... IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OBAMA, HIS FAMILY OR CONGRESS...?? WE (THE AMERICAN PUBLIC) NEED TO STOP THIS PROPOSED DEBACLE ASAP !!!!.... THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG !!!!!

PERSONALLY, I CAN ONLY ACCEPT A UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE OVERHAUL THAT EXTENDS TO EVERYONE... NOT JUST US LOWLY CITIZENS... WHILE THE WASHINGTON "ELITE" KEEP RIGHT ON WITH THEIR GOLD-PLATED HEALTH CARE COVERAGE'S.

Unfortunately, very little that applies to you, me, and the rest of the "dull normals" (read => general public) applies to those in power. This is true for health care, pension plans, speeding tickets, etc, etc, etc.

We have universal health care in Canada with line ups in the ER's. Do you think that a Member of Parliament would have to wait in line if he/she needed to see a doctor? If you do, I have some land for sale in central Florida that may be of interest to you.:p:eek:

Oh wait, turns out anybody can travel to any state where the line is shorter and receive better health care. Your suggestions are noted Ron, Wayne, health care should be equally provided for ALL people. Sounds like what we need is a Universal Health Plan, so those folks with lot's of money have to wait just like the rest of us poor shmucks. Thanks for bringing that up, I'll support your plan for a Universal Health Care bill. :)

Personally, I like the current public option the best - either secure insurance or be prepared for a huge hassle, possibly an early death, if you get sick - in other words, it's always best to be responsible in life.

Ron and Wayne were only stating that if your Obama forces ObamaCare on Americans - every government worker and Congress critter should be required to have the same low-life insurance.

Utopia sounds sweet, does it not? If you think Steve Jobs will be sitting in line behind you waiting for his fair turn under "universal health care", you are going to be sadly let down. There are so many of you (Ernies) out there screaming for fairness... so the government complies, removes some of your liberty for the "good of the whole". Now you are happy. Screw Steve Jobs! He gets to wait JUST LIKE me. Only he won't. And somewhere inside of you, you know this will be the case. But that's not the point, is it? Passing that law made your soap box a littler taller. So now you can cry about fairness from a more lofty position.

But in the end, your gonna get trapped on that soap box while everybody else (with means) figures out how to get around you and your stupid rules.

That was exactly my point, there can be no "fair" distribution of health care, no way, no how. Those that can afford it will find a higher level of care. Public or private, they will secure it. To expect Congress, the President or Steve Jobs to get in line is ridiculous!

What we should consider is how to provide at least basic care to those individuals that have no care at all. It's a worthy goal. How can it be achieved? Well, that is fundamentally the debate.

If Steve Jobs can afford to spend his own money and travel to a state with a shorter line,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,IT IS HIS MONEY! That is far more FAIR than some bottom dwelling societal leech getting health care on MY money.

The rich will and should have better health care than the poor. As long as they pay for it with their own money. Same with Congress, they are welcome to the finest health care they PERSONALLY pay for.

What is fair? I'll tell you what fair is NOT. When I have to wait in line behind some bottom feeding leech while the leech gets care that I am paying for.

Hawaii State employees have a very nice health care package, as well as the Auto Union workers. Many employers offer better plans than others. Don't like your health care? Get a better job. I hear Congress has an excellent plan, along with most of the States, could be a good career move for you.

Its the second option that you are supporting (whether or not you understand it) because that is exactly what Obama is offering.

Why should you pay for Social Security or Medicaid or even taxes! Because thats the way the Government is setup. If you don't like a proposed bill, fight against it. Coverage for those over 65 is of no interest to me at this point and is not a current topic on this thread. Feel free to start a new thread on that topic if you like. Mabye Dr. Anthony would like to discuss it in more detail with you? :)
