I meant "ancient ass" generically...actually refers to the entire body of pain. The right knee from twisting the size 13s enough not to ride the brake, the small of the back, the ass itself, etc.
Actually a damn good car...25mpg on the road, never faltered, fun as hell. |
Wes...that's about what my wife figures: Groceries and nursery runs with the Expedition...the Prius for everything else.

I'm more interested in helping folks get the math right than in commenting on their lifestyle choices. So please don't take this as anything other than an effort to inform. If you were to drive 440 miles in the Prius you'd use 10 gallons of fuel. If you drove an equal number of miles in the Excursion you'd use 55 gallons of fuel. Dividing a total of 880 miles by a total of 65 gallons of fuel, your average fuel mileage is 13.5 MPG, not 26. ... As I noted earlier, when it comes to fuel efficiency what we do with our gas guzzlers matters far more than what we do with our super economy cars. |

Tommy, You have to be correct on this. Good catch. I simply (and erroneously) thought if one got 8 one day, and 44 the next, that I could add 8 to 44 which equals 52. Then, average mpg by dividing 52 by two; voila 26 mpg average. I got this formula out of a book called, "Easy Math for Politicians". Wes :D ... |
Lets face it, it is a lot more fun to drive in the Cobra.
We, tooooooo funny. |
