MACC impromptu cruise

Ok MACC members:
We talked about this at the last meeting, so I'll be the first to bring it up. It's going to be a beautiful 74 degrees and sunny tomorrow, so is anyone up for a last-minute, after-work cruise?

I was thinking that maybe we could meet at English Landing Park in Parkville at about 5:30-6:00pm. It usually has plenty of parking space for us. We could grab a bite to eat down there, or cruise up 9hwy through Parkville and go to LC's Hamburgers for some old-fashioned greasy artery cloggers (LC's also has plenty of parking).

If that's too far north for some of you, then please make some suggestions. I'm up for anything. It's going to be cold and gloomy again on Saturday, so let's not waste it!! I'm dying to get the car out for a ride...

Russ,

If I can get over this cold that I have you can count me in.

Russ,

Sounds good to me. I'll try to be there. Not sure exactly where the park is, but I'll check a map tomorrow.

Russ,

Would love to go but Parkville, that's up by Omaha right?

I'll just putter around and see if petek is running the roads.

I think I'm going to wait until it is just a little bit warmer in the evening before I start doing evening cruises.

Ok, all together now: "Pete is a WIMP!"

:)

Thanks for all the replies!

Not too bad for being last minute. Richard O. brought out his bad-a$$ FFR Coupe, and Al R. drove all the way up from down south in his sinister little FFR roadster. The wives all came and we hung around quaint little Parkville for awhile, shootin' the breeze with all the folks who came up to check out the cars. Then we cruised on up to LC's Hamburgers for some eats. All the kids that hang out there were quite surprised to see two Cobra roadsters and a Daytona Coupe roll in.

It was a good time had by all. If any of you northlanders ever want a good place to hang out, and it's a last minute deal, LC's is great. Lots of safe parking.

Thanks again!

Russ
