I'm the newest Newby!

Hello, All!

I am the newest member of the Club Forums! I am 31 years old, live in Olathe, KS, and have a wife and two kids. I have wanted to build an FFR for several years now, and am finally starting the process! I have a donor mustang arriving in a few weeks; I can't wait to start the teardown so I'll have a feeling of progress. Are there any of you out there that live in the Olathe area? My wife and I would love to see your Cobra! I live near 159th and Blackbob in the Arlington Park neighborhood. Please email me at greg.branham@commercebank.com. I figger the more contacts I have when I start, the better off I'll be!

Thanks!

Welcome Greg. You will find a wealth of information here among other things. You may want to register over on www.ffcobra.com also if you haven't already. That forum is specific to Factory Five and hosts lots of technical documentation.

Greg,

Do you know about our club here in town? http://www.midamericacobra.org We meet once a month for a meeting and have lots of events throughout the year. Our club will be at World of Wheels this weekend. Email me if you wish.

You have a street in your town called "Blackbob"? Really? (lol)

Thanks Mark! I plan on going to WoW Saturday when it opens; I'll look you up. Richard Oben of North Racecars is going to be there, as well. Should be a great time. Where does MidAmerica Cobras meet every month? That sounds like something I should be involved in soon!

Greg:
Welcome to Club Cobra! As Mark said, we have a VERY active Cobra club here in the KC area. In fact, MACC is the most active car club I've ever been in.

You'll be glad to know that we have a very large "Cobra family" here in town. There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 60 Cobra's in KC. Four of them are original 60's cars, and the rest are replica's or CSX continuation's. That's a lot of Cobras for a city the size of KC!

Anyway, our monthly meeting for March goes down this Saturday morning, at 9:00am, at Your Classic Ride, which is located at about 11th and Benton downtown. We'd love to see you there! Or, again as Mark said, we've got 10 cars showing at the World of Wheels this weekend, and we'd heartily welcome you to hang out with us in the display.

Best Regards,

Russ Dickey
