K&M in Raytown, MO new engine dyno
For those of you that missed it, last saturday the Mid-America Cobra Club went to K&M in Raytown, MO to have a tour and see their new DTS engine dyno in operation. It was a very impressive installation. I don't think they've determined pricing yet on dyno time, but it is a great new resource in Kansas City. A fellow named Paul Lovett was nice enough to volunteer his 428 for the tuning session we watched. By the end of the day he put up some impressive numbers, 517 hp at 6200 rpm and 521 lb/ft at 4200 rpm. Contratulations Paul! I think he's planning on putting it back in his Cougar this weekend. I'm thinking that'd make a nice cobra motor too! I have the particulars of his build if anyone is interested.
