Calling all Midstates Owners!

I've been working with Bob Kallio to redesign the Midstates website and make it more user friendly as well as show off his product better. The new site has been up for a little over 6 months. The website address is still the same: Midstates Website

I'm in the process of adding a new section to the site for customer cars, so if any Midstates owner has some photos and a description of their car that they can send either me or Bob, that would be great.

If you do send a photo electronically, please send it as a JPG, and at as high a resolution as you can send. This will allow me to put in a larger photo for your car.

If you have photos that would need to be scanned, you can email me or Bob, and we can contact you about sending them to us so we can scan them and then return them to you.

With the description, if you could give your first and last name, engine info, frame and suspenion setup (ex. round tube frame, solid 9" rear and tubular coilover front suspension), year you built or bought it, and any other comments you'd like to make would be great.

Yep that's my email. I wonder why yours bounced back? I tried clicking the link and sending info to myself, and it works. If you can't get it to work, try sending to Bob's email address, and he can forward it on to me.

I got it. Probably was a file size limit issue. What you sent was 2.5 MB, so I might have a 3 MB limit, not sure.

I'm in the building process as well. My mechanic and I flew out to see Bob a year ago this month, made the deal and gave him my deposit. Since then we've built one 427 sideoiler and fired it only to find a crack in the block:CRY: . I bought another only to find it cracked as well :mad:. I am paitiently waiting the arrival of a Genesis block from Keith Craft :JEKYLHYDE . I'll only have to have it powdercoated before it is planted in the car. I have some pictures of the first engine in the car if you would like to see them. Everything else is pretty much done except for paint. I'll keep you updated and will send pics soon.

Sorry to hear about your engine troubles. Feel free to send my any photos of your build. I've had people send me photos of their complete cars, and some have sent me build photos. Either way, they'll be included. My plan is to be able to easily update the site with updated photos and info when people get their cars done.
