Default Love it when a plan comes together

Just got to love this Colorado weather. Hope no one got flooded out last night.

I hear that Phil Long's All Ford Day went well until the rains came and that the Pueblo car show was wonderful until the rains came. If anyone has any pictures, please send them to me so we can post on the site. www.milehicobraclub.com

The Dyno Day went great before the rains came on Saturday. Hear from Brandon that he got real wet driving back to the West Side, but us Easterners got home dry and safe. I think we ended up with 12 cars on the dyno (a few were wanting when Dick and the little old 302 went home) Looked like a couple of mustangs (Bob Cloutier and Lou Rivera) were on top of the Horsepower game, but we all had fun and learned a lot about our cars. Mac Autosports has the disk and as soon as I get down to pick it up, I will forward your results to you and also post the final numbers for all to see. If you need dyno time, call Bill McMahan and set it up. He charges $65 for a dyno test. 3 Pulls. 303-841-1176

The LaMar's Donut Run was wonderful. If you did not come out to play because of rain, you screwed up. Had our donuts and coffee and then 12 (10 Cobra's, a Viper and a Corvette) of us left for Manitou Springs about 9:00. Great drive down via 285 and 67. Had a little rain between Woodland Park and Manitou Springs. Got to the restaurant (Old Stagecoach Inn) about 11:30. Got the cars covered for the rain that we were expecting and then went in for Lunch. Then the skies opened up for the 1 hour it took us to eat and it poured. Then as we paid and started to walk out, the rain quit. How did Steven and Annette do that? 1/2 of the crowd drove home the same route we took down and the other 1/2 drove home via Parker Road (83). The West bunch got real wet on the drive home and the East bunch even had time to stop in Parker for ice cream. Sometimes it just does not seem fair.

Like I said, "Love it when a plan comes together"

We will have pictures soon of all the various activities over the weekend. Hope you had fun and got your car out without any problems. Stay as dry as possible and we will see you soon.

We are in the final lap of the the Cruise Colorado plans and will be updating you soon on our progress. It is going to be great.

Dick
