Rallies or Car Shows nearby?

The old familiar story...had the bug for a while, and I'd like to get better informed to make a smart purchase. Are there Cobra rallies or nearby Cobra-centric car shows that might be good to attend.

It'd be nice to see various kits, talk about options, pitfalls, etc.

Thanks,

Chris

Apple Ford Show on June 7th would be a great opportunity.
AVF Show

Cars and Coffee at the Chanhassen Motorplex is always fun, too. Next one is this Saturday. Always a few Cobras there.

Cars & coffee is best. Millions of $$$ of hardware there on any given month. Replica & original cobras, exotics, rods, classics, tuners, the whole smash. My favorite off-the-beaten-path cruise ins are Victoria and Henderson. You may only see my Backdraft there though.

No posts since May? Must not be a thing going on in Minnesota? :-)

There are a lot of show's and car guy things to do, Just not of cobra specific. Check out New Event Listings for 2016 continue to come in and be listed daily on autoswalk.com. Find them here first on autoswalk.com!. Trying to put together a cobra specific event would be comparable to herding cats. While there are a lot of them around it is difficult to find them in the same place. I do frequent a lot of shows and I am usually the only cobra there.

I have a 4.6 in mine too. 5 speed with 3.87?? Posi rear. Mine is an aluminum block and heads dohc. It has been on a dyno and shows 302 horse to the rear wheels. I would like to put a blower on it when it is stored for the winter, but can't decide which type to use, the pro charger type or the conventional twin impeller type.
I got some coil over shocks in today from Viking in Chaka to fix a problem with a short spring on the drivers side. It was built that way.
My car has manual rack and pinion, same thing though I pulled the steering shaft out of it tonight to fix a "phasing" problem with the u joints. Hopefully I can fix the binding problem that I have. Is yours manual or power steering? This car was set together but not finished with the details.
When I get it back together it would be fun to get together somewhere in between Delano and inver grove.

Have you gone to the A&W Cruise In held on Tuesday nights in IGH? I have had the MkIII there once this year...
