Twin Cities Friday evenings
This is just an open invitation to all Twin Cities (and extended area) Cobraphiles to attend the weekly Friday evening N. St. Paul gathering. It's located two blocks south of highway 36 on Margaret Street. People usually start arriving around 4:30. With the couple of recent additions we now have 6 fairly regular Cobra attendees. More would be great!!! It's a sponsored event, no charges, street vendors, great local bars, everything you need for a nice evening. Come and join us!

Sounds like fun, we'll definitely see you there sometime soon.

Just a brief clarification, this is not a cobra exclusive gathering. It's sponsored by the MHRA, Minnesota Hot Rod Association, and is for '75 and older vehicles. It draws around 2-400(?) cars weekly, and has been growing each week this summer.

Chris, What exit from hwy 36 do you take?

Margaret Street, turn south... There is a 4-way stop light at the intersection (no major freeway type exits...).
Hint... there are several stop lights along that stretch which can make for some... "careful driving opportunities..." with a few hundred hot rods cruising around. There is a 100ft tall cheesy snow man on the corner, you can't miss it. BTW, there is a 110 octane store within a few blocks... Aahh... |
I've never noticed that Margaret street crosses Hwy 36 but the Snowman, I know where that is. Thanks.
