Hello,

Greg R. turned me into the MN snake chapter, so I figured I might as well announce my arrival.

I'm Jose Borja from Elk Mound, WI owner of FFR 2471. I built my replica by myself all the way from uncrating to paint and final polish. Not the greatest looking car but she's all mine and has my work and amateur paint job on it.

I did a stock build using a 1993 Mustang LX as a donor with a 5 speed and a 5.0 HO engine (104K miles). People around here have never seen one of them Cobra's and I can't go anywhere w/o being questioned by most any folk with a pulse about the car.

This winter I added windwings, footbox ventilation fans, a Heidt's power steering valve and hose set-up, SS braided brake lines. Now I'm waiting on my 3-link and coilover set-up to arrive from the factory. I posted the parts removed form my rear suspension for sale, in case you know anyone doing a stock FFR build wishing to use new parts and save 50%.

Look forward to cruise one of these days over to the MN side and join a few of the activities going on. In the meantime, if 'jever find yourself coming over this side by Eau Claire, WI don't think twice before calling in. I keep my car in my shop and I'm always tinkering with it.

Nice car. You are not too bad looking either.

This is a great site. Be willing to ask anything and be ready to get all kinds of answers. You will hear from Cobra lovers all over the world. The group here loves Cobras. Guys that have build them are respected. No question is too dumb. Sometimes the answers may be too dumb, but most of the time they are on target.

It helps to "search" topics before asking questions. Many questions have already been asked and answers given. You can learn alot by looking at old threads.

Jose,

Welcome to the club and have a lot of fun. If you have happened to read any of my last few posts you already know that you have nothing to worry about so far as being the leasy knowledgable person on here. Congratulations on building your car and it looks great. More than I can say for mine.
