Motorbooks "Wheels & Wings" 9/6

Motorbooks has posted information about this years event on their website. Again, it's scheduled for 9/6 8-5.

Take a look...

If you're planning to attend (weather permitting) please post a reply so others have an idea who to look for. If I see a "number" of interested people making a strong commitment, I'll contact them to see about a separate area for us.

:D

Later everyone...

Well, it's a day before this and no one is interested??? Everyone's keyboards broken???

I know a couple of you out there were at this show last year.

Anyone???

The weather is looking to be fantastic!!! Food, music, 1,000 very interesting cars of all types, Victory motorcycles right next door, free stuff from Motorbooks, huge discounts on other stuff from Motorbooks... how many nice weekends are left... :)

Chris, I'm going to be there, but probably not until 1 PM or so. It's a great event, however the book sale is way too tempting!

Good to see you Saturday Dick.

There were 5 Cobra's that wandered through the show Saturday. It was another GREAT show this year, with a fantastic variety of unique vehicles. Great showing from clubs including a few dozen Hummers, 50+ MG's, 10+ Ferrari's, 30+ Coopers, Z's, hot rods, Viper's, RR's, etc...

Maybe next year more will be interested in making the trip.

:)

I agree on the show! I did get to see that Jag XK120 you mentioned and what a beautiful car.

There was a pretty rare "kit" car parked over by the book tent. It was a Kellison J-6, one of maybe 40 ever made. Don't know why I recognized it, but the owner was astounded that anyone could identify it as a Kellison.
