The two builers I spoke to are gone

Hello all, I am back and looking seriously again to build. I think I have settled on Classic Roadster as my best bet as I am 6'3" 260 and the extra room in the stretched cockpit will help for comfort. I am open to comments on this however. My new dilemma....... last year I spoke with a builder in Brainerd and one in White Bear Lake and both are out of the corba building business. So I am in search of a good reputable builder. Looking for suggestions. Local (Twin Cities) would be great but not an absolute. I have some unique ideas on engine that I would love to explore too. If anyone has recommended builders I would appreciate a note back. Your help is appreciated. John

If haven't checked with dscott who owns Classic Roadsters II you might want
to do that. He is in MN - a quick trip to his place might just set you up.

John,

I am, unfortuneately, larger than you. Do some more homework on different manufacturers and their cars. I fit exceptionally well into my ERA. I have sat in many others.

Not that saying your choice is bad, just think that if you are selecting only for that reason then there are definitely other choices which may get your through a build with considerable confidence.

John,
Unfortunately, both dealers in Brainerd and White bear lake went out of business. However, we are still up and running strong and we would be more than happy to build you a C427. Please give us a call or feel free to stop by anytime for a tour. We're only about an hour and a half northwest of the Twin Cities.

John,
My name is Brian. I'm starting to build Cobras up in North Branch. I have built one for myself and starting a second for someone else in the next week or two(when the kit is ready to pick up). Both are classic roadsters. I would be happy to talk to you about building one for you, or if you just have some questions you can call or email me. My number is 651-249-1481, email is hamster427@yahoo.com. Thankyou

I hope that Liriano can recapture the stuff that was so good and that he can stay healthy. There are never too many young stars in MLB.

Why do I suspect that you are on the wrong forum?

Tiny,

You may also want to check out the Lonestar Classics home build (lots of videos on Youttube, info on the web site). Many people get these Cobra for the larger amount of space and room, pleanty of big people getting these it seems. Classic Roadsters in a great Cobra, but this is just another alternative.
