Newbe looking for club information
I just recieved my B&B cobra and live in the Minnetonka area. I would like to recieve any information on the Minnesota Cobra club. (or is it just the name of this forum) How to join, events, etc. I would also like to get in contact with other Cobra owners in or around the Twin Cities. Thanks!

I belong to two groups in the area: First is the local Shelby American Automobile Club. This chapter is actually open to all Fords so there are more Mustangs and things than Cobras, but it's a very good group. http://www.midwestshelbyclub.com/ The other one is a loose-knit group of kit car owners called the Oddfellows. No formal officers or anything fancy like that, just kind of a group decision to meet at someone's garage on about one Saturday morning a month for coffee, donuts and car talk or maybe a cruise. There are a couple of forums that Oddfellows members chat on. One is a forum area of Carriage House Customs (http://www.carriagehousecustoms.com/), the other is Google groups. It's easier to get to the Google groups area through a link to it from the Oddfellows website (http://66.41.218.133/oddfellows/) but that seems to have been down the last couple of days. Otherwise send me a private message through this site and I'll reply with my home e-mail address and I can keep you up to date on things that are happening in either group. Chuck Anderson |
