Predicting uptick in GT40 memorabilia if new film is a hit
20th Century Fox is filming a feature now about Shelby, Matt Damon playing Shelby. Due out in June 2019. My prediction is , if, and I say IF this is a hit (like $300 million box office) then all Shelby memorabilia will go through the roof--those old jackets, books (including Shelbys own),the posters, glossy factory prints, art, model cars, etc. Unfortunately I don't have much of this stuff, other than art and books, but I figured this was another wanna-be film until the State of California announced the tax credit, then I knew it was going to happen
If the movie is a dud like RUSH, then there will be only normal appreciation. |
