Shelby Cobra College Project

Hey lads, Im new on here.. Doing a project at the moment where i have to do a 3D model of a cobra in CAD all the bodywork, interior, engine, the works.. 5 of us have 10 weeks to complete the project so im hoping some of yea can give me a hand. im looking for fairly detailed drawings to work off or anything else that can help me. Exploded views of the car would also be a great help. i have a model car in the post so that should be of some use..

Any advice or help will be greatly appreciated?

this is basicly what i will end up with only more detailed with the engine parts and stuff moving...

If you guys can find a way to obtain this poster from artist David Kimball, that would give you a lot to work with. There are many sources on the Net to purchase one from.

I looked at your model car renditions and it looks like you have patterned a Factory Five Racing body style vs. an original (the squashed fenders in the rear are the tip-off for me). If you're trying to map an original CSX car then I would look for ways to flatten that out a bit.

Also the ERA web site has some really great references:

Good luck!

Best wishes to you...That's a very ambitious project you are taking on. I wish I could help you but I'm new here and just learning all about the hobby. I do wish you the very best...I'm sure you'll do a great job mate!
