I have a 1966 ac cobra that was built by Classic Motor Carriages out of Florida. They are now out of business. I am trying to find or how to find the original manual or build sheet on how to put this vehicle together. Having issues as to the rear suspension and to what could have been used on my car. These are my problems and if I could find the build manual would help me out. Chassis rear differential is not installed correctly. Left and right upper and lower rear differential trailing arm bushings are twisted in arms. Rear differential pinion angle is pointed down ten to eleven degrees which is causing drive shaft rear u-joint to grind into rear differential output flange and pull driveshaft slip yoke out of transmission. Rear shocks are not right. Rear coils springs are not installed correctly or are wrong for the vehicle and are hitting the frame. Left and right rear shock mounts are wrong. There are no bushings in the shocks. These are just a few of the main issues. Trying to figure out what they reccomened for this vehicle. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. First, please take a few ( or as many as necessary ) pictures of your setup.

Post them and let everyone give it a look.

Ask point questions so they can be addressed. Open ended ones will draw a discussion with a lot of opinion.

All is not lost, it will just take some time.

I am not completely positive but when CMC went out of business, you can research why, they reemerged as Street Beasts. Hopefully some one will verify this.
