Southern NH White Mountain Tour - Benefit - Spaulding Youth Center
Guys,
I wanted to see if SNH Cobra Club would like to plan and also gauge interest for the summer of 2017 Tour. Spaulding Youth Center continues to be interested in hosting a SNH Cobra Club I-93 drive into the White Mountains with a stop over at the SYC campus. Another opportunity that has materialized late in 2016 is the opening of Club Motorsports in Tamworth, NH (just an hour from the SYC campus on some great NH back roads) Club Motorsports The Tamworth track is a fantastic race track for Cobra's. Great turns and 250 to 300 feet of elevation changes from top to bottom. One of the owners has a Factory Five Daytona replica that is not only stunning to look at but literally flies over the track. If we can get interest and commit, Tom S will reach out to Club Motorsports and see of I can arrange a complimentary lapping of the Tamworth track as part of the Spaulding road tour for your Club. Tom Sahrmann gets the kudos on this one.... There is no official fees for the event and lunch however since we are running for the Spaulding Youth Center we should gather up funds as a group and present them something from our group as a whole. Would be a nice gesture from the NE Club Cobra group highlighting our cars as a great means for future hobby seekers. :cool: |

Love the idea and would like to be involved. Probably trailer up and unload somewhere as it's a very long ride from Hartford. Please keep us informed as to dates and such. Wish i could get both cars involved. Thanks
