May 2023 Breakfast
Guys
How about we drive to the C&C at Historic, we can snack there and enjoy a drive all at once?
Our first Cars and Coffee event of 2023 is Saturday May 13th from 9am to 11am.
Please join us at Historic Motor Sports along with Seacoast Specialist Cars as we host our first Cars and Coffee event of the year. It's from 9am to 11am and we have high hopes that it will be a perfect top down driving day.
This is an open event and all are welcome but we ask that if you come in your daily driver that you please park behind the building to allow space out front for the specialty cars. Hope to see you on the 13th.

Not in the islands this time……..am in London but will be home before the 13th.
I have seen more Ferraris, Maseratis, Bentleys, Rolls, Aston Martins and McClarens that I don’t even acknowledge them anymore, never mind all the classic antiques

Have fun in Vegas. Except for the wind the weather has been great! Wind should be going down for a few days.

DEC had a bunch of locations in Maynard. Headquarters and original engineering was at "the Mill" which was a civil war era woolen mill. I now believe is a senior retirement home, maybe senior condos but the site was huge so I don't imagine they have all of it. It had a big pond with the buildings all around it. I spent a lot of time in building 5 but I don't know how they number them now. Another big location was on Parker Street - that was mostly educational services (I took lots of courses there). There was another locationon Powdermill Rd that was where Ken Olsen and all the the legal and corporate departments had their offices.
I did time in Phoenix, Colorado Springs, Littleton, and Shrewsbury but there wasn't a day or week where I wasn't at another site sometimes in Marlboro and also Nashua. I was 3 months short of 20 years when they sold the hard drive group to Quantum.
Have a great drive!

DEC put our company in business 40 years ago. I was on the phone every day with the Burlington, VT, and Augusta, ME manufacturing facilities. Good times...
