Go carts

Has anyone tried the F1 go carts in the Boston Area?

Todd:

have been there on two occasions, but since we had a beer with our meal weren't allowed to drive the carts.

absolutely no drinking is allowed if you are going to do some carting.

the facility is absolutely first class...two tracks that can be interconnected when needed, los of carts, honda powered i think...they seem to be pretty quick...not hte kind of carts that you would see at a local carting facility for the public.

plan to get there to try it out as soon as my son is home from school later this week.

if you come up let me know and maybe we can hook up there.

Re: F1 Boston

F1 is a blast. I drop in there once a month or so with another member here to turn some laps. You certainly learn to defend your line. The place is keyed toward corporate events, business team building outing as well as leagues and so on. If you are traveling very far you should call ahead and make sure that the track isn't booked. Its pricey at $25 for a 15 lap race but it really is big fun.

I hope it's possible.
I'll let ya know how it turns out.
