Kart Track in CT
Happened to be driving by the place on Saturday and stopped.
What a BLAST!! Even though the place is small, the karts are fast enough to blow through a turn and lose it. I have a new respect for F-1 drivers and how in shape they must be in order to drive like that all day. My arms felt it after just 7 minutes. My best lap out of 20 was only 13.08 which didn't even make the top 45 for the day! Planning on going back soon. I need to find info on other types of kart racing. I'm hooked. Not ready for a shifter-kart, but do want to try something a little faster, longer, etc. See ya. |

Windsor CT, right off of Route 91.
We were heading south, I think it was exit 41. Took a left at the end of the ramp, then a left at the stop sign. 1000' up on the right hand side. Old - single story metal buttler building |

just for the record..
Went back to Kartrack on Sunday. met Cobra Bob there where he proceeded to lap me!!!!! I lowered my lap times down to 12.08 where the week before I was a full second slower. Bob made it into the 11's. The amasing thing is my wifes friend Suzy made it to 12.20's by her third try. What a GOOD time that place is. |
