May 1st ride (Saturday) Southern Ct
Hey Guys:
Is anyone out there interested in doing a ride on Satureday. Porsche Club is at Lime Rock, we could go up for lunch. I'm open to ideas. Art, Stu, Rick, Todd any interest? Bob |

I would be there in a minute!!Car is still just sitting in the garage now for almost 2 weeks since delivery.............the only days the State police can do the inspection to issue the car a Vin# is on Monday's and its rained on me , kinda wishing i owned an enclosed trailer at this point. Sal:( |

Although I do subscribe to this forum, sometimes the Club Cobra email notification of a new thread or post does arrive. If the weather is nice on Friday, I may go up to the first Monroe show of the year, which is on the 15th. Also, this Friday, there is a muscle car cruise night in Naugautuck. This happens the first Friday of each month. Art |

Haven't checked here in a while. Been busy. I completed the 6 hour endurance kart race at Lime Rock on 5/8. We took 1st place in the GTSR class. (GT Super Rookie). Of course we were the only GTSR team to register. Funny how that works. We never raced before, yet we placed 12th out of a field of 28. I feel for the 16 teams we beat. Nothing like getting whooped by a bunch of amatures! On top of all that we made 6 extra pit stops due to the black flagg-meatball you get when there is either contact on the course or if you get 4 tires off of the course. No one else seemed to honor that rule. We were the only ones entering the pits when given the "meatball" flag. Next time we won't pay any attention to that flag like the rest of the field did. It cost us at least 1 to 2 full laps. Anyway, we are looking forward to racing again. Next time we will be in the GTR class, or maybe the GTBB Class. |
