SCDA is a pretty good group. Not directly familiar with their on track training. A bit pricier than most.

Others available include:

PDA: getting pricy, average training, runs a less formalized event. Lots of dates, 3(?) track choices with multiple days on weekends.

APEX: new kids on the block, very affordable, good training, limited tracks and dates available but lots of track time when you get there.

COM: based out of NHIS home track with many other dates at a wide variety of tracks, the best at on track training, very inexpensive fee's, events are centered around training and a timetrial (optional). Very organized. Highly respected.

Ask this question over at Club Cranky and you'll get a lot more info on Glen groups. If you have a particular track in mind, check out the tracks web site for other club who run. Most are "Marque" clubs but will allow outsiders run too. Training varies greatly, and in the begining, it is most the most important factor for you. Once you learn the skills, you can run anywhere with anyone. For "real" racing, clubs like EMRA and groups like NASA have training events and will get you on track with lots of track time. Then there is the Old Man of the group, SCCA.
