Trans-Am @ Lime Rock Park 9/1 to 9/4
One of the races at Lime Rock Park , Sept 1 to 4, will be the Trans-Am Series, 40th Anniversary celebration. A CC member has previously mentioned the least expensive tickets are at AAA offices, less than the Lime Rock on-line purchase. From the Track Record:
" The Trans-Am Series began in 1966 and the historic Trans-Am Group will focus primarily on the cars from 1966 to 1972. Many of these machines will be the original cars that raced in the Trans-Am Series at that time " " To this day , the period from 1966 to 1971 is referred to as the glory years for America's oldest running professional road racing series.
