Yesterday the sun was out brightly and the temp was up to 42 ºF ... and I had a bad case of cabin fever, especially since the forecast was for snow and more snow.
So what about a pick-me up? I went for a ride! :JEKYLHYDE :JEKYLHYDE
Traction is lousy when you have to drive thru the melting snow, but what the heck ....

Finally got warm enough to go for a ride. Was in the mid 50's today (Sunday 3/11). Spent about 1 hour driving around.
This video is the worst part of a drive in a Cobra! :D :D :D

Be sure to wear your "Scot-Pak" while revving in da garage with closed doors or you might just go nighty night!!

There were only 3 stop signs in that video. When my super accurate Smiths odometer reads 0 MPH, thats a good stop for me! :p :p

How about putting the mic in the door panel? That way it is at the end of the pipe, and no wind?

Sorry, the mic is built into the camera. Its not a video recorder .. its an ordinary digital camera (Nikon).

Two days ... two rides. But forcast is for rain for about a week. So I took another ride. Temp was 58 ºF, sun was out and filled the tank with gas.
Don't ya just LOVE people that stop on ramp to a highway!

WTM: Are you using a polarizing filter on your camera? If not, it would help with the glare, but you may not be able to put one on the Nikon coolpics. Great video!

Its a $250 Nikon Coolpix and does not have any filter/lens capability. But for that money, it takes great pictures and movies. It also uses 2 AA batteries, so I have a bunch of rechargeable ... cuts down on costs. Thanks.

How about my third ride in the last 3 days! Sure sign of spring, or else we will get 20 feet of snow in the next 4 weeks.

For any of you that live out in the country, here is a typical merge onto any highway around Boston at 5 PM. :o :o :o

Warren,
Great videos!! I just came to the realiization that I could cancel my SPF order (and save some big bucks) and get my kicks by going on virtual joy rides!
