Tribute to Dick Smith Cruise - Pictures
On Saturday, FFR hosted a cruise to Newport as a Tribute to Dick Smith. For more information, see the article on the FFR web site.
http://www.factoryfive.com/whatsnew/...lumbusday.html A group of Cobra owners decided to have breakfast before the gathering at the FFR factory. But before we went to a local diner, a few of us gathered at Burger King so we could cruise to the diner together. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2471.JPG At Dave's diner, we met more Cobras owners for a great breakfast. http://www.daves-diner.com/ What would any gathering of FFR's be without one Superformance? Well, there would not be this thread! **) **) http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2498.JPG Dave's Diner was really nice. Clean, good service, great food, and tons of old signs and pictures on the walls. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2484.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2483.JPG How many Cobra owners does it take to fix a Cobra that is having a problem? Nine! The owner who works on fixing the problem, and eight other owners throwing out hundreds of suggestions why it has the problem. :o http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2514.JPG Here is the group cruising from the diner to the FFR factory. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2523.JPG At the factory, there was about 30 Cobras, two Daytona Coupes and two GTM's. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2580.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2524.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2590.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2597.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2528.JPG http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d...0/DSCN2532.JPG After the tribute to Dick Smith, about 24 of the vehicles proceeded on a cruise to Newport, RI. I had a prior commitment for that afternoon, so no pictures. It was a great day. But I did take a video of all the cars leaving the FFR factory. http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/new-england-cobra-enthusiasts/82769-24-cobra-video.html |
