December Get Together
 

Hi Everyone,

Well, the wedding went off without a hitch although not without drama as my son's sub didn't arrive back in port until Thursday morning. Cutting it a little close but, as they say, close only counts in horseshoes although the bride would probably be willing to argue that point. ;)

Now to the business of getting everything ready for the December get together on Saturday December 8th. The plan is to kick things off officially at 3:00 and run until about 7:00. Those are just reference points since we'll be here all day and anyone is welcome at what ever time frame works well for them.

We promise no turkey as everyone will probably be tired of that staple by then. :D There will be lasagna, spiral ham, and salmon and the normal finger and snack foods. There will also be hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and hot dogs for the younger crowd.

Of course, just as with the holidays, the important thing is getting together with family and friends. While we don't expect that December will be overly cooperative on the 8th as far as temperature we are hoping that we'll be blessed with a clear day so that everyone can travel safely so we all can have a great time with friends discussing our favorite topic, cars.

Map Quest does a pretty good job of providing driving directions to our house which is located at 10 Keenan Drive in Peterborough, NH. It gets pretty confusing once you are in the development as the streets wind around and end abruptly to become another street. One of my sisters drove around for 45 minutes once trying to find the place. Just give us a call at (603) 924-9746 and we'll send out the search party to help guide you in. :3DSMILE:

I just got the word that one of my guys at work who was suppposed to be on next weekend needs to leave town on a family emergency. It looks like I probably won't make it. Thanks for the invite and I hope to see you guys elsewhere soon.

Hi Everyone,

Only a week to go. The stockings are hung by the chimney with care and, for the moment anyway, the kids are snuggled in bed with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads. If you will be bringing little ones, please let us know the correct spelling for their name and their ages. I've heard that Santa is planning on making a little side trip to drop off a few things to make sure that even the younger crowd has something interesting to do.

Hey Donna and Mike,

Wish I could make it. Will be in Chicago visiting my family. Will be missing and thinking of you guys! Hope you have a great turn out. Will look forward to seeing some pics posted!

We'll miss you but will post some pictures. While the snow today will certainly lend a Christmas atmosphere, hopefully it will not make for bad driving condiitons come Saturday. Have a good trip and we'll see you at the next get together.

Oh boy, Vance (6) and Carly (4) were already looking forward to going, but now they're going to want a NE Cobra meet every month like we do.

We will continue breakfasts in January after the Holiday's. Bring V&C as I will M&Z.

We'll bring Kyler and Shayna as well. It may be too cold and messy to drive the cars but its still great to spend some time with everyone and talk about the subject that interests us the most.

Most of the map programs do a pretty good job of providing detailed directs in the maze we call home but please give us a call and we can provide directions as well. Just let us know where you are coming from and we can go from there. Also, if you get close and are having problems finding your way in, give us a call and we will be more than happy to come and meet you to guide you in.

One last note, Donna's birthday is next week. Some of her family are planning on coming down to surprise her and will be bringing a birthday cake. ;) I want to make sure that everyone was aware of this so that the only one getting a surprise will be Donna. I hope that you can join us in a birthday song and having some of the birthday cake.
