This crappy New England weather make's it impossbly to enjoy our cars.
And now there saying we may get North-Easter for next weekend! For you guy's out west thats awindy downpour for a couple days. joeg |

Two weeks ago I started a post to get together at the Fish Tail in Madison for lunch on a Saturday. It was a beautiful day with sunny skies and temps in the 70s (if not 80s). Only 3 cars (including mine) showed. Both were from Milford. We cruised the shore areas of Madison and Guilford and ended up at Chamard vinyard in the afternoon. It was a terrific day. It was the best day in 7 months in Connecticut, 3 cars! So don't complain about the weather. As best I can tell most owners in this area don't drive them they park them. I've been on drives on Long Island when 30 cars show. If they had some of the open road there that we have here they would get 50 cars. Is there a law in Connecticut that bans us from driving our cars that I don't know about? Just my opinion. Hey Long Island guys, any drives coming up? Bob |
Bob, I know what you mean. In Mass, regardless of the location, event or weather it's usually the same guys that always show. But then again we are known to put together an occasional event with 10 or 12 cars. But it is amazing that so many of these cars just remain parked.
