Cobra Breakfast Nov 8th in Nashua NH
Guys
Sat 11-08-08 will be held at Denny's in Nashua NH Exit #6 off the Everett Turnpike Time Change: 9am This one might be it for the season! Hope to see you there....... Jeff |
Hey Jeff,
Seems to be an anemic turnout for the November 8 breakfast for the NH guys. All you guys ever do is rank on what pansies we "flatlanders" are. In the meantime if you check FFcobra there are at least 6 or 7 guys planning on the run up to Nashua some from nearly 100 miles away. So out of respect for our fortitude, what are the chances of making the breakfast at 9AM if you NH types aren't already back in bed by then :) (Boy am I going to catch hell for this post) Ron |
Hi Jeff, I've been working on my scratch built Cobra since June. I ran it a Run n Gun where it performed exceptionally well. I still have the interior to finish and to get it titled and registered. I won't have these things done by the 8th but I would still like to come to the breakfast and introduce myself. If any one is interested in a Cobra with a handbuilt space frame and all 2003 Corvette drivetrain I would be willing to trailer the car to Denny's. Next spring I will be ready to go!! John

Hey John, bring that thing I want to see it and talk suspension with you. That thing sounds like it ups the ante on Herb Adams VSE! I wonder if they'd bring breakfast out to us like the old diners so we can look at cars and eat? It might be too cold outdoors for the flatlanders................I wonder where I could get 295/50/15's in a snow tire :-)

9am it is! No coffee for you though..... John, Please join us and bring build pics so we can at least look the car over..... |
I plan to be there. I'll bring the car and pictures too. Looking forward to meeting you and getting to know some othe "Car" guys in the area. I love driving my cars through the small villages and mountains of New England. I put 33,000 miles on my last Dragon in 18 months. Can't wait for next spring. I went this whole summer with out having a finished car to drive. John

Jeff,
The MA guys who are planning on coming up from the south are concerned about the weather saturday (as am I) Sunday forecast is supposed to be better, at this time anyway. Any chance if saturday doesn't work out could you guys make it on Sunday? For a lot of the guys this is the last run of the season and they're hoping to get out in something other that the daily drivers! Ron |
Sunday actually works better for me since I have to work at our Laconia facility on a move all day Saturday. I'll monitor the thread and see what everyone is doing.
Mike |
Saturday Breakfast at 9am might be moved to Sunday at 9am. Keep checking the post as we will be watching the weather very closely Friday.
Thanks |
Ok guy's, both days look gloomy or all that great however Sunday is supposed to clear. :MECOOL:
Sunday 9am Nashua NH Denny's off exit#6. For those coming from the North that is 8:30 meet at Macy's in Bedford for the ride down together. RAIN OR SHINE |
I'm not going to make the Sunday breakfast. My son has a hockey game in Laconia at 9am. I'll get my Cobra completed over the winter and on the road. I look forward to meeting you in the spring. John

We meet year round! Just usually in regular cars during the cold season. However, there are a few diehards. |
