Service in Mass.

Hello All:

I'm considering the purchase of a Kirkam 427 SC Cobra and I'm concerned about finding a quality place to have the car serviced in the Boston area. The car as the following engine: Shelby American 427FE aluminum block (built by Keith Craft Racing)

Does anyone have any suggestions for a place to service this car?

Thank you very much.

Rob

Amalfi Racing

Gilford NH excellent work, $50.00 per hour. 603 528-6830 AKA Performance Prestige Auto. It is a little far from Oakham, MA but worth the trip. They don't work on everyones' car, I had to interview for my first appointment. You can eat off the garage floor and they always have some neat road racers around.:D

Biggest concern in MA at the moment would be getting it registered ... things are not easy at the moment in the Commonwealth.

Thanks for this advice. I've got a home in Maine. Is the registartion process easier in Maine?

Thank you.

Mass reg is no problem if you do your home work. My ERA is a 64 427 in MA no issues.

Did you register it this year? As in 2009? If not then you are giving bad advice. The game has changed, and the old tricks of using VINs off the donor engines is not going to fly much longer ... I realize that is how some others are doing it.

As for the question about Maine... YES, register it to your house in Maine.

Hi Rob,
What kind of service do you need? I can do some work or I know many good shops in the Boston area.
