PROPOSED ROUTE

Please look this over and advise if anyone knows of potential headaches or issues with this proposed route. A nice 2 hour double loop with some room to stretch them out, etc.

Route looks great but why do we have to fill up on coffee and donuts before we get to your place? If money is that tight, I'll buy.

Saturday doesn't work for me. Maybe next time.

Bob In Ct 04-11-2009 08:18 AM

Friday night - air into the tires, check coolant, check oil, check brake fluid level, check clutch fluid level, check spark plug wires. Clean windshield, install radiator screen, block oil cooler. Bring phone, hat, sun screen, GPS, camera, ear plugs, jacket, driving gloves, money and wife.

I'm ready!

Bob

Sorry about that, Saturday makes it more likely we pull it off next weekend since we have a chance on Sunday if weather is iffy.

Soon we get into show season and with our new rig we have to use it or loose it.

!

Car is going slower than I would like. I might have it good enough for a ride, but it is not looking good. just not enough time for anything any more. This week is packed with all kinds of stuff. We shall see, sounds like a great run...I don't want to miss it

What's wrong with the car? I can help out one night this coming week.

Wow, I really appreciate the offer, but I would never ask unless I was desparate.
Finish up the rear caliper/ Ebrake install, reinstall carb, fix leaking clutch slave line, Break tie rod apart measure and reinstall(I want to order a bump steer kit this week). Besides bleeding all the lines, lots of ebrake tweeking, general cleaning and unwinterizing....that is what I need to do
Time is such a commodity these days!
Did I mention that I absolutely HATE the jag rear braking system!!!
LOL:mad:

Dave,

I have a mushtang as well. 89lx that I've been tinkering with. Think I have a bad lifter so the top end is apart (again) waiting for parts. I feel your pain man!

Cashburn 04-16-2009 04:08 PM

I have a number of Mushtangs... but you let one in and you've got a Mustang Drive!

TButtrick 04-16-2009 05:05 PM

Not advocating a mushtang cruise. Cobras rule!!!!

Jay,

How can I help?

Cashburn 04-16-2009 07:59 PM

If we can get one person to handle donuts and one to handle coffee we are all set. That allows me to get the other stuff handled so we can depart promptly.

Bob In Ct 04-16-2009 08:25 PM

I'll bring either, how many are we expecting? Is a "box of joe" from DD enough?

Bob

TButtrick 04-17-2009 04:35 AM

I'll do the donuts.
