Anyone interested? Ron has posted on FFR looking for some interest there as well.

Any thoughts about this mid July event?

Hi Jeff,

I'll talk with Donna but I would like to attend. Keep us updated if you plan on going.

Also, the next weekend is the Cobra in the Mountains event. Are you planning on attend that any of the days?

This is the week after the Lake George NY event. My wife & I will be going to that so a 2nd weekend back to back will be pretty unlikely. I may be able to make a day trip for Sat. or Sunday.
This is the 7th year for the cruise in Lake George. I have made every one (Pam missed last year) A weekend at a Cobra event with your partner is a great thing. If your schedule won't allow one event then try for the other. If your pocket book and your calander allow then make them both.

There are a couple of us planning on going to the Hemmings event at this time. We are going to go up Friday for the Hemmings headquarters meet and greet and then for the cruise up to Stratton. If you are interested here is the link

We are also staying for the cruise-in show the next day and then will probably head home on Saturday late afternoon. After years of doing concours events with an E-Type Jag I have come to hate those events. **)
True you can see some interesting cars but the spirit of driving and fun is often absent. If you call Stratton for lodging, let them know you are with the Hemmings event. They get a discount. I was quoted $156.00 per night for a condo that will easily sleep two with two parking spaces, one covered and one not. Nice to have a few up there for the event. For the record, I will probably take my '67 lotus up....that way I don't need to worry about the parking.

Hi all, I am leaving for an out of state wedding on Wednesday. I am borrowing a dress from my sister but it is too long. I do not sew and don't have time to drop the dress off to get hemmed (my sister doesn't mind if it is altered by the way)

I remember hearing about some sort of hemming tape? I think you iron it somehow? If you know what I am talking about can you tell me were to find it and what your expereience has been.

Thank you!:JEKYLHYDE

No No No, You've got it all wrong. They have a special cement for that sort of thing. In fact in southern VT they will completly disrobe to make the adjustments to thier own clothes. I'm sure you've herd of the "Hemmings mortar nudes"
