Saturday September 26 - Kangamangus Cruise
Hi Everyone,
If the weather cooperates, Donna and I are planning on taking a cruise up thru the Kangamangus Highway on Saturday September 26 to take in some of the Fall foliage. We thought that we would start out from the Windmill in Concord for breakfast and then head up from there. We don't really have any set route in mind or places that we would plan to stop at this point. Right now we would just be winging it. If anyone else was interested in joining in, we could work out a few specific stops for people to join in or break off as well as somewhere to have lunch and/of dinner. Any suggestions would certainly be considered as well. Let us know and we can plan from there. Mike & Donna |
Sounds like a wonderful drive. My wife and I drove the Kancamagus and other nearby highways last summer, and just loved it. Enjoy!

Thanks. We had drive thru last winter from Rte 3 to North Conway and felt that it would be a great drive during foliage season. It should be pretty close to peak next weekend in that area.

It's been years since I was on that road. Take some pics and post please.

Hi Mike,
We are hoping that the weather will cooperate and that the foiliage is somewhere near peak that weekend. If so, we will post some pictures to give you a feel of "home". Mike |
